Accomplishments and
Milestones

We prioritize the nutritional well-being of those we serve by making sure the food items we provide are in line with USDA recommended daily portions of fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, and dairy products. A healthy diet is crucial for a healthy lifestyle. In the last twelve months, your generous donations made a significant impact on the lives of 5,089 individuals, including 1,562 children and 1,238 seniors by providing weekly food distributions. During that time, we received 29,878 individual requests for food assistance and met that need by distributing 979,313 pounds of healthy and nutritious food, enough food to prepare over 800,000 meals. 2/3 of the food we distribute is fruits and vegetables.

Your support allowed us to expand home delivery services to veterans and individuals unable to leave their homes. Currently, 25% of all weekly distributions are home delivered, about 100 per week. Your generosity helped increase the number of hungry kids we can help on weekends. Today we partner with seven local elementary schools to provide 210 students with additional nutritional support through the Weekend Children’s Meals Program.

With your help, every day, Food Now provides between 50 and 60 of our unsheltered neighbors ready to eat meals and essential personal hygiene items. Your contributions enable us to assist seniors on limited budgets by providing essential non-food items and even extended our care to their beloved pets through our Companion Pet Food Program. Your ongoing generosity continues to create a profound and positive impact within our community.
